More Libertarian Than Thou

Hear, hear!  I'd like to hear an explanation of why some people think an anarchist platform/candidate is better for a party called "Libertarian" than a generic libertarian platform/candidate.  I'd also like to hear an explanation of why the LP Platform should imply that one of the various Major Schools Of Libertarianism is better than the others, or why the LP Platform should try to fix particular values for any of the roughly 25 Free Variables in Libertarian Theory.

Modulo these myriad free variables, I would measure how libertarian you are according to the aggregate amount of force initiation that would be 1) conducted by the political structures you advocate and 2) countenanced by the absence of the political structures you oppose.  I personally think any platform or candidate (even Dan Wiener) is suboptimally libertarian to the extent that he/it does not propose to defend all of the individual rights identified in the EcoLibertarian Manifesto.  However, I could support an imperfectly libertarian LP nominee like Mary Ruwart -- especially since she doesn't seem interested in promoting her least libertarian views, such as personal secession from any local system of protecting individual rights.
