RE: [CALPCandidates] Libertarians condone sexually explicity movies involving young people

Muth is deceptive to say that Ruwart "embraces kiddie porn" or "supports smut films featuring 13-year-old girls".  Ruwart's actual position is controversial enough: she thinks that pubescent children should be free to make such decisions, and that parents should have no legal standing to try to stop them.  Muth's quote of Ruwart, however, is accurate:
"Children who willingly participate in sexual acts have the right to make that decision as well, even if it's distasteful to us personally. Some children will make poor choices just as some adults do in smoking and drinking to excess; this is part of life."
This sheds new light on the dispute about what the 2004 platform really meant by this: “We call for the repeal of all laws that restrict anyone, including children, from engaging in voluntary exchanges of goods, services or information regarding human sexuality, reproduction, birth control or related medical or biological technologies."
