I'm not here to turn libertarians into geolibertarians. I'm just here
to defend geolibertarians and other non-anarchist libertarians from the
charge that they are not libertarians.
If you don't view pollution as illegitimate, then that's as good a place
as any to agree to disagree. When debating anarchists, I reserve the
right to get as lazy as TJ and declare it a self-evident truth that to
increase the security of their rights, Governments are instituted among
Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. With
the percentage of anarchists among the libertarians in the decennial
Liberty Magazine survey at 10% and dropping, the exercise is becoming
increasingly academic (i.e. fun!). If there were a prediction market on
the expected lifetime of the State in North America, I'd invite you to
put some cash and specifics behind your "outlive" statement. :-)
