Michael Seebeck, what I did above was respond to these New Coke
analogies with a Jolt analogy and an explanation of why it's more apt.
You replied "Obviously Holtz missed the analogy completely. So what else
is new?" I leave it to the audience here to decide whether there's any
evidence that I missed the New Coke analogy, and whether your response
was 1) a clumsily boorish insult or 2) "a fact".
